About Us

Salew People Solutions custom designs and facilitates a variety of trainings using a creative, hands-on, and therapeutic approach for businesses and individuals. We believe in empowering our clients by providing resources, tools, and techniques that can be utilized with ease long after the training is over. Our programs include: Early Care and Education Training, Business Solutions, and Personal Solutions. Each one of our programs provides training services to address a particular topic within that area. We custom design Onsite Staff & Professional Development Training for Private and Corporate Childcare Centers, as well as prepare Presentation Packages for those centers that may have the materials but lack the time to write workshops. We also facilitate seminars, workshops, and conferences at a variety of venues throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Long Island, Staten Island, and Pennsylvania. We even host an annual Teachers Retreat so educators can revive, recoup, and reconnect with their personal and professional goals. While we do host various seminars, workshops, and conferences throughout the U.S., we'd like for you to keep in mind that onsite training outside of our areas of reach can be offered if you make your request known. We stay abreast of current research and hot topics by regularly assessing our materials. Effective training is utilizing the best available resources. Training is evaluated by clients and participants; we integrate new methods and technology into the learning experience. We gather data to provide cutting edge services. We use our feedback to meet our clients��� needs and professional standards. We advocate and actively pursue continuing education. Education is an on-going process; we encourage professional development that will enhance staff & leadership abilities. We emphasize teamwork. Our consultants hold specialized and advanced degrees from some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the country. These institutions of higher learning include: Brooklyn College, Pace University, LIU, Montclair State University, NYU, Harvard, Yale Law, and CUNY. Degrees are held in such fields as Education (including Early Childhood Education and Special Education), Psychology, Sociology, and Business Management. Many of our consultants hold multiple degrees and continue to seek professional development in their fields to maintain licenses and stay current. Salew People Solutions��� consultants have extensive academic, teaching, and real world experience. Our consultants have trained and facilitated thousands of people in hundreds of seminars, workshops, and conferences throughout NJ/NY/PA. Our consultants collectively have over 20 years of experience, expertise, numerous awards & recognitions, and professional memberships.
We believe that learning is an active process. It is imperative that the method of providing professional development is congruent with those expected to be used in a real life situation. We use a sensorimotor approach for ECE training. Materials include: multimedia, power point, handouts, presentation packages, flip charts, and the environment. We also use discussions to solicit and involve participants in learning. We also use cooperative learning and problem based instruction. Techniques encourage contact between students and instructor develops reciprocity and cooperation among students, encourages active learning, & gives prompt feedback. Organizations may request onsite training by completing a ���Request for Onsite Training Application.��� An assessment is performed, followed by designing the workshop(s) based on the assessment, organization���s philosophy, mission statement and/or vision, and any other special requests the applicant may have.
